As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you support teachers in the classroom to enhance the learning experience for students. They assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and provide individual or group support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher in preparing teaching materials and resources.
Support students during lessons, helping those who need extra assistance.
Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
Supervise students during activities, breaks, and field trips.
Assist with grading assignments and recording student progress.
Communicate with teachers and parents about student needs and progress.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and adaptability to work with diverse learners.
Basic knowledge of the subject matter or willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Previous experience in education or childcare is an advantage.
Relevant certifications or training (e.g., first aid) may be required.
